Amazon’s profits fall by 26% as company invests in one-day shipping

E-commerce giant Amazon continued to invest heavily in one-day shipping, which sent its third quarter profits tumbling down by nearly 26%. With this, the company posted a net income of $2.1 billion USD. This also led to the company’s stocks falling by as much as 7% in after-hours trading.
