Tulsi Gabbard won’t seek re-election to Congress

Tulsi Gabbard’s campaign has said she will not seek congressional re-election, so as to focus on her 2020 White House run. Gabbard, 38, has served seven years in the House of Representatives.

Good luck to you Tulsi - you definitely deserve the Democratic nomination. At least you have some integrity.

Sad when all the dems are happy that the one half decent candidate goes, just shows how far left the party has gone. No matter, it's a dead party now after all.

Wish you the best Tulsi. Thank you for your service both as a part of the military and as a Congress woman despite our disagreements. Hope you take some time off and get out of politics. Just enjoy life for a bit.

Well that's a pretty stupid choice, because she's not gonna make it past the primaries

I agree with almost none of her positions but it is clear that the Democratic system and the media, but I repeat myself, have decided to screw her. I really hope she has success in whatever is next.

Good drop out of the Presidential race too.

Wish she’d be the Democrat nominee, but she isn’t mentally insane enough to be. Respect her

A principled action. Man I wish there was more of that on display in politics lately. Not really the correct field though. Tulsi and Buttigiege both come from a military experience and both understand being honorable. Honor, respect, and dedication don't have a side or possition. Hell, Tulsi and Pete disagree on a major military matter [Syrian response]. The key is how they do what they do.

I wouldn’t vote for Tulsi, nor do I agree with her policies but I have great respect for her. She has served her country well and I feel that others should follow her example.

The irony is, that Tulsi is the only candidate who stands a chance against Trump because he would treat her with respect. due to her service and anti war stance. No other Dem deserves the slightest bit of respect. Just look at the 3 front runners. Biden. When he isn't involved in corruption with his son he is being creepy sniffing young girls hair or plagerising others speeches or making gaffes live on TV. Sanders. The crazy commie who has already said he will taxes of billionaires to 98% and actually believes these same people will actually stay in the country instead of heading to the nearest tax haven. He will leave us with a country with rising unemployment as these billionaires take their businesses with them. Warren. This woman is a proven liar. she has changed the story of her teaching past several times and falsely claimed native American heritage for decades when clearly she had no physical characteristics. She is also incapable of answering any difficult questions. Trump will destroy her in any real debate instead of the soft debates of the Dem primary. This is going to be a walk over for Trump.

she won't seek reelection because she doesn't want to lose publicly. her opponent has already raised almost twice as much money as she has been able to.

Well somebody needs to tell her that in the many years that America has been around there has no one left Congress to serve as president of the United States

she's likely going for a cabinet position for the future Sanders administration, because we all said Trump wouldn't win and look what happened. record crowds for Trump. record crowds for Sanders, not so much for "I have a plan for that"-pocahontas. it's great that Warren has plans, I also did once upon a time. plans change, she's not accounting for that, she isn't explaining any policy at all, actually. still a better pick than Biden.

Maybe we can get her out of politics all together then. She is helping tear the party apart, but the more socialists biting the dust the better
