67 dead in protests against Ethiopia’s Nobel Peace Prize winning PM

Violence in Ethiopia that began with protests against the PM Abiy Ahmed has left 67 people dead. The spike in deaths came as high-profile activist Jawar Mohammed accused Abiy, this year’s Nobel peace prize laureate, of acting like a dictator. Jawar is credited with promoting protests that swept Abiy to power last year but has recently become critical of some of the policies.
