Stricter rules for qualification to Democratic debate announced by DNC

Stricter rules for qualification to the sixth round of the Democratic Presidential Debate were announced on Friday. As a result, the number of candidates to make the cut are expected to reduce with the onset of the new rules. The new rules include tougher fundraising and polling thresholds.

Democratis committee - we don't care about the people. We want our chosen ones to rule.

So they want to make it even more difficult for non establishment Democrats to get on these debates?

Is anyone still watching these things?

And here's where they Bernie the ones they don't like and start rigging their Primary.

At this point, they do need to be forcing the people polling below 2-5% out because they basically stand no chance of winning the nomination. What we have been seeing so far haven't actually been debates but instead sound bite generators. You really can't get any depth of discussion when you are limited to 30 seconds or even 1 minute. Would much rather see the top 5 or 6 actually debate each other to see who actually has a vision and who just has sound bites.

Why wouldn't they gradually tighten the standards to eliminate weaker performers? It's not an elitism thing, it's a political popularity one.

All future DNC debates will integrate Wipe Out challenges with overtones of Benny Hill music. Seems fair!

they should limit it to people that can beat President Trump. Oops that would give them an empty stage.

Sadly none of this surprises me. Democrats haven’t learned from last time around and instead and selecting their hopeful instead of the one who can reach a large number of people. That is of course unless they’ve been bought by Clinton...again lol.

The new rules require candidates to have no first name beginning with T, while the last name must not begin with G.
