Southwest Airlines pilots livestreamed bathroom video, lawsuit claims

A flight attendant has filed a lawsuit against Southwest Airlines alleging pilots on a 2017 flight had an iPad streaming video from a hidden camera in a bathroom. Renee Steinaker claims to have seen an iPad streaming video from the forward bathroom when she entered the cockpit. Southwest denied it places cameras in aircraft lavatories and called the incident an ’inappropriate attempt at humor’.

Why the hell would anyone want to see people struggling to use those god-awful little rooms? Freaking gross.

“if this got out, if this went public, no one, I mean no one, would ever fly our airline again.” It's amazing how easy it can be to tank a company in the age of social media. If I was Southwest, I'd be issuing a public statement!

it's entirely possible that it was a practical joke on the flight attendant, it wouldnt be the first time Southwest flight attendants didn't like being the butt of a crude joke. I'm curious how they're claims of discrimination will be seen by the court, they seem to have dropped them for now.
