Man convicted of fraud in drowning sons case

A man who drove his family off a Los Angeles pier, killing his two severely autistic sons to collect insurance money, has been convicted. Ali Elmezayen was found guilty of murder, mail and wire fraud, identity theft and money laundering. He faces over 200 years in prison. The children, aged 8 and 13, were strapped into child seats and drowned while Elmezayen’s wife survived.

This is so sad. Who could do this to children? Children with special needs, no less. I hope he gets the help he needs in prison.
