Facebook asked to be more transparent regarding political ads

Facebook was called on by United States Senator Mark Warren, with the Senator asking the company to be more transparent regarding its decision to not fact-check ads run by politicians. The Senator also asked the company about whether or not it had decided to comply with a new rule that requires online platforms like Facebook to reveal the purchasers of ads.

HaHa! Democrat doesn't trust the public to be able to make up their own mind with regards to political ads.

Yes! Ban speech! Man the progressive left is so wise, I wonder what topic they'll go for next. Looking at the comment section on Jack's announcement people were begging for the political ad restriction to be applied outside of its intended nature. I foresee more bans being announced.

And we see how the Cult of the Left shows its worship of authoritarian censorship, repression, and groupthink. Retards.

Facebook should ban political ads that do not pass the same test as all other media. That's pretty simple.

Facebook should ban political advertising. There is already enough media doing this. If, as Zuckerberg says, the money from political ads is not "significant", then what's the problem? It's not a free speech issue, it's a truth in advertising issue.
