NBC’s Peacock streaming service may be free for everyone

Comcast’s NBCUniversal is considering making an ad-supported version of its upcoming Peacock streaming service free for everyone. It would be the first free streaming on-demand video service from a major US media provider. Peacock arrives in April 2020, and NBCUniversal has series and films lined up for the launch. It is scheduled to include more than 15,000 hours of shows and movies.
