German city declares it has a ’Nazi emergency’

Dresden, a city in eastern Germany, has declared a ’Nazi emergency’, citing a rise in anti-democratic and extremist views including violence. Council members of the city declared that ’right-wing extremist attitudes and actions … are occurring with increasing frequency’. The resolution calls on the city to help victims of far-right violence, protect minorities and strengthen democracy.

I do not see Neo-Nazis in the photos - just normal, everyday people marching for remembrance of the Dresden bombing and other similar things. If they are anti-Semitic I would not support that, but I am not seeing anything that indicates these are "Neo-Nazis".

'The resolution calles on the city to... strengthen democracy'. But what if people democratically vote for fascism? It seems that forcibly suppressing your opponents is somewhat hypocritical here, is it not?
