UAW president taking leave amid corruption probe

The president of the United Auto Workers union, linked to an ongoing corruption probe by U.S. federal officials, has taken a leave of absence. Gary Jones’ leave of absence follows a vote by the executive board. Jones will be replaced on an acting basis by Rory Gamble. ’I want to do what’s best for the members of this great union’, Jones said, while not giving a reason for his decision.

Heard he was considering the "Jimmy Hoffa" vacation package. You go somewhere and never get heard from again.
