Judge blocks Trump’s health insurance rule for immigrants

A federal judge on Saturday temporarily blocked a Trump administration proclamation that would have required prospective immigrants to prove they would have health insurance within 30 days of their arrival. Judge Michael Simon granted a 28-day restraining order, preventing the rule from taking effect on Nov. 3. Simon said the potential damage to would-be immigrants justified a nationwide block.

So just allow people who can't support themselves in, thereby forcing them to rely on an already strained beyond it's means system?

The Executive sort of has power over immigration where the other branches need to work together to counter that power through passing new laws. the single Judicial branch alone cannot reverse such an order, let alone a single judge. That judge should be tried for misuse of his position and potentially treason. Checks and balances exist for a reason and cannot be legally subverted. Want to stick it to Trump? Do it right and mint new laws to close gaps or create amendments to the Constitution where that fails.

So, as a natural born citizen, I must have health insurance or Mr. IRS man taxes me more money per month without insurance, yet immigrants can just come on over and not have to deal with that?

Another unjust, obstructionist ruling by the 9th circuit that will probably be overturned by SCOTUS.

Trump will probably win this. Judge is from the Oregon district court, which appeals to the... wait for it... 9th Circuit.
