Mueller documents show Manafort pushed Ukraine hack theory

Documents made public from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation have revealed that Paul Manafort, the then Trump campaign chairman, pushed the idea that Ukraine, not Russia, was behind the hack of the DNC servers. This was revealed by deputy campaign manager Rick Gates to the FBI, according to a heavily redacted summary of an interview conducted by the agency.

Another case of "it was them, not us." Considering the evidence is stacking up that the DNC (on some level) worked with Ukrainians against the Trump campaign this effort is at best a weak deflection.

...which is why it's important to investigate Ukraine, right? I mean isn't that why the Mueller report was supposedly necessary? To find the root of interference?
