Trump administration begins Paris climate accord exit

The United States has begun the process of pulling out of the 2015 Paris climate accord, marking the first step in a one-year process to exit the global pact to fight climate change. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Monday that he submitted a formal notice to the UN. The move would leave the US as the only country outside the accord. It will be officially out of the pact on Nov 4, 2020.

An agreement doesn’t work if the worlds biggest polluters don’t agree.

Another day of deep shame for our country. We used to be the leader in the right thing to do for our world. We used to be "the good guys". Now we are nothing more than corporate shills and narcissists. "The greatest generation" apparently gave birth to the "As long as I got mine." generation. We are doomed...sadly we are taking the rest of the world with us. Yes, China & India...but it used to be "As goes the US, so goes the world.". Apparently we have chosen to lead everyone into hell. This is NOT "MAGA".
