Oklahoma to release more than 400 inmates in a single day

The commutation of 462 inmates was approved by the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board, and comes on the heels of the signing of a bill that retroactively reduces the sentences of inmates who committed low-level crimes. This also made it the largest mass commutation in the history of the United States.

If there's a state that needed to do this, it's Oklahoma. The private prison system is in full swing here. I applaud the move, it's a good place to start
