A 49 year old resident of Waynesville, Ohio died after either one or both of her Great Dane dogs attacked her inside her house. The woman, named Mary Matthews, was found dead by her husband when he arrived home on Friday.
Who let the dogs out?
Real story: an alcoholic, drug addled woman was mauled by her pitbull-crosses, which had a history of aggression, including biting, and she died because she couldn't/didn't seem emergency assistance. It is a sad story.
Pitts are not fit for inexperienced dog owners.
If you aren't strong enough to over power one. If you don't have the acreage to exercise one. If you have children that you can't keep separate.
You shouldn't get one.
another link where they call them "great dane" but this link show the picture of one of the dogs..
I know this is not English (and I hope this link works), but a little research shows these dogs do not look like Great Danes. Also, on her Facebook page she describes them as pit bull / Cane Corso mix.
The dogs were thin implies to me that they weren't being fed. They also found the deck covered in feces. Add to that mix the owner's drug and alcohol addiction this sounds like a recipe for disaster. Awful to hear the results, but this was absolutely preventable.
These dogs are 1/1024th Great Dane.
The husband did it
hope she didnt abuse them.
ok why? trained family dogs don't attack.
