Chinese professor sues wildlife park over facial recognition entry system

A Chinese professor has decided to sue a safari park after it replaced the system of finger-printing visitors for identification with a new facial recognition system. Guo Bing of Zhejiang Sci-tech University was concerned the new system might be used to ’steal’ his identity and asked for a refund of his annual pass. The park declined to return his money, so Bing filed a civil lawsuit.

I expect this professor to be found dead within the week 😔 Fuck China and everything the CCP stands for.

Let me get this straight - the CCP has based their entire national surveillance system on facial recognition and this guy thinks he can challenge that? Does he think he lives in the US? He will lose this "challenge" and probably suddenly die in a few years.

Common people can sue in China? That sounds like some of that Hong Kong witchcraft stuff. Off to the re-education camp for you to learn to be a good communist again.
