The unrest in Hong Kong and the resultant violence figured in talks between France and China, according to Emmanuel Macron. Mr. Macron, the French President, addressed the media at the end of his three day China trip, and said that he had raised Europe’s concerns with Xi Jinping, his Chinese counterpart.
