Coworkers buy car for woman walking 12 miles home from work

Coworkers of a 60-year-old FedEx employee left walking 12 miles home from work after her car broke down have helped buy her a new vehicle. Package handler Darlene Quinn at a South Carolina store has been forced to walk the distance for months after her car broke down. Her colleague Josh Lewis on October 22 created a GoFundMe page that raised $8,265 and he was able to buy a used SUV for Quinn.

12 miles is like 18-20 in her miles.

They couldn't stand seeing her safely walking, so they had to buy her a death trap. Source: statistics.

One article says she walked 12 miles once after her car broke down, one says 24 miles a day, and the other says 24 miles a week. Still a nice gesture.

People make GoFundMe’s for literally anything 😂😂. Regardless, that’s still a great thing to do for her.
