A statue of former US President Ronald Reagan was unveiled by the US Embassy in Berlin, on Friday. The statue overlooks the location of Reagan’s iconic speech that implored the Soviet Union to remove the Berlin Wall. Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State, described the unveiling as a monumental moment.
Excellent news. I am glad to hear that the most recent Great President of the United States is being honored in such a way.
Good.
Our lord and savior.
I like it how the Wall wasn’t supposed to be demolished until a further date but a large amount of prideful German civilians just marched right up and started tearing it down. Can’t imagine what Itd be like to be the border guard that evening.
This is good
Waiting....waiting....waiting.
Certainly interesting how in one context a wall can be so fundamentally wrong and in others really seems like the right thing.
Woo a statue to a racist...
Yuck!
Yuck Yuck and Yucky!
Have no fear some progressive will have it torn down claiming Reagan was racist or some such crap
Ich bin Berliner or ich bin ein Berliner?
Glad the Germans are paying tribute to Reagan, the most recent great President of the United States.
