Kids in Siberia have to walk to school at -40. Meanwhile here in Texas it’s a nice solid 65.

1: Get a pair of oversized slippers, white rice and a pair of socks you don't care about anymore. 2: Pour the white rice into the socks, tie them off, and throw them into the microwave for a minute and a half to three minutes. 3: Put rice rocks into the toes of the slippers and put the slippers on. Instant warm feet. I used to do that during the winter I lived in a roach motel with no heating and cracks in the walls that let in the cold. When I wasn't working, I would come home to my freezing house and get my warm polar bear feet slippers on. Then I would sit in my bed and quietly shiver until I got sleepy while my roommate played video games. Occasionally a friend of ours would come over and we'd all get high. They were pretty god awful times, I'm not gonna lie. But at the time there was something about it. It was the first time I had ever lived independently. Maybe the freedom made it worth it?
