Man attacks Chinese kindergarten with chemicals, injuring more than 50 children

A 23-year-old man has attacked a kindergarten in southwestern China using a liquid chemical, injuring 51 children and three teachers. The suspect entered the kindergarten in Kaiyuan, a city in Yunnan province, by climbing a wall before spraying victims with sodium hydroxide, a chemical that causes severe burns and permanent damage. The man has been arrested and the victims are being treated.

Channel News Asia says "Violent attacks targeting schoolchildren are not uncommon in China, which has seen a slew of deadly incidents over the past few years - usually involving knives." I wonder why they are usually involving knives?

Not surprising. China has a lot of attacks against school kids; sometimes it's men attacking the kids and very occasionally it's women. I think these attacks are usually performed by people from outside the province (I could be wrong).
