Google’s ’Project Nightingale’ triggers federal inquiry

A federal inquiry has been opened into Google’s efforts to collect health data on millions of Americans through its ’Project Nightingale’ program. The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that the project allowed 150 Google employees to have access to data on tens of millions of patients across 21 states. The tech company said the program was to give health care providers new insights for patients.
