South Carolina teenager sentenced to life in prison for school shooting

Jesse Osborne, 17, was sentenced to life imprisonment Thursday for killing his father in 2016 before driving to an elementary school and fatally shooting a 6-year-old boy. The judge said the teenager showed no remorse after killing his father, then shooting at Townville Elementary School as a first-grade class was celebrating a birthday party. A judge ruled earlier that he be tried as an adult.

$20 says the kid was on SSRI drugs $10 more says he comes from a broken home (not necessarily divorced parents, but usually)

I bet he gets out well before he has spent 20 years.

it would be more humane to euthanize the young man in my opinion. much as I realize the potential for rehabilitation in a 17 yr old he will find none of it in the prison system.

@ardurren so you admit that our prison system is garbage and does not do what it was "intended" to which is rehabilitation. Instead of saying we should fix it to truly rehabilitate people you think we should just go ahead and murder people for crimes?
