Taliban-U.S. prisoner swap apparently imminent

Three Taliban commanders, part of a prisoner swap for two Western hostages, have landed in Qatar on Tuesday. The Afghan government’s decision to carry out the swap is seen as key to securing direct talks with the Islamist militants. The militant group’s hostages, American Kevin King and Australian Timothy Weeks, both university professors, would be released later on Tuesday.

Why should we have to release terrorists just because some moron westerners decided to move to a warzone? Their decision, they should deal with the consequences. Those taliban are now free to kill a bunch more people all because of their irresponsible and stupid behavior. I'm sorry, but they put themselves there and we shouldn't free any terrorists over their idiocy.
