Global fossil fuel production on track to bust Paris climate targets

The world’s nations are on track to produce more than twice as much coal, oil and gas as can be burned in 2030 while restricting rise in the global temperature to 1.5C, analysis shows. The report reviewed specific plans from 10 countries, including Canada, China, and the United States, and estimated that global fossil fuel production by 2030 would be 120 percent over Paris Agreement targets.

I could really care less until we have a viable solution to have sustainable energy without fossil-fuel we need to keep the production. I always get the two confused but I believe it's nuclear fission where you create a miniature Sun until we are capable of that we need fossil fuel they keep saying nuclear fission is about 40 years away well I'm still waiting.
