Hong Kong human rights bill clears US Congress, heads to Trump

The House passed a pro-Hong Kong rights bill by a 417-1 margin on Wednesday, a day after the Senate passed it on voice votes. It now heads to Trump for his signature. The Bill requires the US president to annually review the favorable trade status that Washington grants to Hong Kong, and threatens to revoke the coveted status the city enjoys with the US if its freedoms are quashed.
