Senator driving during call, same day that distracted driving bill is introduced

Ohio state Sen. Andrew Brenner was seen driving during a remote OMB meeting on Monday, the same day that a bill was introduced to punish distracted driving. As the meeting gets underway, Brenner turned on a virtual background of a home office. The background, however, didn’t perfectly camouflage what he was doing though. His could still be seen driving with a seatbelt over his shoulder.

Let's not jump to conclusions.ayne he has one of those racing style game chairs and this one is so authentic it has a seat belt.

Just a couple of observations, the bill had just been introduced so it hadn't even been voted on yet, much less made law. Also, I only find it a problem if he votes for the bill. That would make him a hypocrite. If he votes against it, though he's doing what he believes in. Also.....must be a helluva slow news day.

Give the boy credit for multi-tasking. He obviously had somewhere he needed to be and the schedule wasn’t conducive. People have done much worse on zoom calls. Much, MUCH worse. LOL.

I think this shows that we need to just get back in the work place instead of zoom calls.

Texting while driving is many times worst, I see people crossing lanes and crashing into curbs all the time. I saw on woman pull out from a red light, and didn't notice her wheel was turned until she hit a curb blocking two lanes of traffic. She wasn't going fast but it's getting nuts.

I'm with the senator on this, I mean what's next no conversations with fellow travelers? I can see banning texting while driving but to restrict hands free conversation? Please.
