Amazon sues Pentagon over $10B contract awarded to Microsoft

Amazon has sued the Pentagon over a $10 billion cloud-computing contract awarded to Microsoft. Amazon said it filed a legal complaint Friday seeking to challenge the decision. Earlier this month, Amazon said there was ’unmistakable bias’ on the government’s part. The contract, formally called the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure, or JEDI, was sought by Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle and IBM.

The US government and Microsoft have enjoyed a mutually beneficial business relationship for decades, next thing you know Amazon will complain about the government buying computers from Dell instead of using Amazon's Fire tablets.

They should have picked Oracle anyway! Amazon is a crybaby! As if they don't have enough money already!

Amazon has a chance at winning this suit since there were some comments made publicly against Amazon. I think I would rather have Amazon win the contract than Microsoft; Bezos is a patriot whatever else may be said about him.

A great way to ruin ANY future chance at a government contract is to sue.

Microsoft has such a great reputation for security. How could any govt agency not use them?
