Alabama sheriff shot and killed while responding to call

Lowndes County Sheriff John Williams was responding to a call at a convenience store and gas station when he was fatally shot on Saturday. The suspected killer William Chase Johnson, 18, was taken into custody shortly after midnight. Johnson initially fled the scene but returned to the convenience store to turn himself in several hours later.

God rest your soul brother. Another good man died to help others, those who hate police are scum

Why can't the same people that hate cops at least recognize great men like this that died serving? They're just too extremist for me. It's like calling all firemen nazis while ignoring all the good that they do.

Food for thought: Capital punishment is a legal penalty in the U.S. state of Alabama. Alabama has the highest per capita death penalty rate in the country. In some years, its courts impose more death sentences than Texas, a state that has a population five times as large.

By what, "so-called friendly fire?" Is this what happens in AL when POC reach a high level and "ignorance" wants them dead?!!
