Highway bridge collapses in northern Italy after landslide

A motorway bridge collapsed on Sunday in Italy’s northwestern region of Liguria near the coastal city of Savona, following a massive landslide. It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties. Authorities said that one car was reportedly involved but searches were continuing. Liguria is the same region where a motorway bridge collapsed last year in Genoa, killing 43 people.

I think once a year counties just need to take a close look at all their infrastructure and see if anything needs repairs.

Another one? Decades of bandaids masquerading as rehabilitation to infrastructure is the main reason for these disasters. Spending billions on their military in anticipation of a war that never comes, having their economies become dependent on arms sales and arms purchases instead of on their people has lead to this. Maybe America should take heed.
