Businessman buys Nazi items; plans to donate to Jewish group

A Geneva businessman has purchased Adolf Hitler’s top hat and other Nazi memorabilia to keep them out of the hands of neo-Nazis. Abdallah Chatila paid some $660,000 for the items last week at a Munich auction, intending to destroy them after reading of Jewish groups’ objections to the sale. He now plans to donate the items to a Jewish organization.

Excuse me but most Neo Nazis can't afford that shit. I am a collector and VP for the museum in my town, I would love to own items like this to use for displays to pull people in to educate people on the history of the war. Museums love items like these because people always have curiosities about items like these and advertising that your museum has them on display can be effective to pull them in. There are millions of people that have a healthy interest in WW2, made obvious by the fact that it is still one of the top topics on most history related channels.
