Navy SEAL Gallagher to retire from active duty, no review board

Eddie Gallagher, the Navy SEAL at the center of a standoff between President Trump and some top officials in the Navy, will retire from active duty and will not take part in a review board over his conduct in 2017 while deployed. Gallagher, who received two Bronze Stars, was acquitted of murder in the stabbing death of an Islamic State militant captive but was convicted of posing with the corpse.

I have no problem with this clemency. Leftists can suck a nut.

Mike, do you even know what he's been pardoned for?

Something else Trump gives sensible Republicans yet more pause over. Ignoramuses think this is a good idea, true Republicans definitely do not. But he ain't doing it for them, he's doing it for the ignoramuses. There's not a genuine Republican anywhere that would happily see the Military Code of Conduct undermined like this.

Well when you get in front of camera and say I serve at the pleasure of the commander in chief and then turn around and try to make some back door deal you should be shit canned. Gallagher was a hero and the leftist media has a large group of people thinking he was convicted of war crimes when in fact he was acquitted on all counts except taking a pic with the jehad criminal he was sent to kill.
