Grandfather charged in toddler’s cruise ship death speaks out

Speaking for the first time since having been hit with criminal charges, the Ohio grandfather who dropped his 18-month-old granddaughter to her death from the balcony of a cruise ship spoke out about the ordeal. Salvatore Anello said he thought a glass window would have blocked his granddaughter Chloe Wiegand. ’I kind of relive it all the time’, Anello said describing the incident.

I don't think for one second that this man intended for his granddaughter to be hurt in any way let alone die. Negligent homicide is the correct charge. He didn't know the window was open but he should have checked.
