88-year-old Army vet saves 10-year-old girl from pit bull attack

An Army veteran, 88, used a 3-foot-tall plastic toy soldier to save a 10-year-old girl from a pit bull attack Sunday. Leonard Miller, a medic in the Korean War, was at his home in Ohio when he heard the girl’s screams. Miller sprang into action, grabbing the closest thing to him -- a toy soldier. He hit the dog with it several times until the pet loosened its grip and the girl was able to flee.

He's a hero. But I cant help but feel sad for the dog. They're bred for this shit and it sucks.
