New York City Council approves ban on flavored e-cigarettes

The New York City Council voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to ban flavored e-cigarettes as officials seek to curb a spike in underage vaping. The ordinance bans all flavored e-cigarette and vaping liquid flavors except for tobacco. Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio has said he supports the ban and will either sign the legislation into law or let it take effect automatically.

Still waiting for that ban on cigarettes and other similar products. The ban on vaping couldn't possibly be because you aren't making oodles of money on taxes like you do with cigarettes that kill a far greater number of people you can't fool me I know this isn't because you're concerned about the health and safety of your citizens or that this gets in the hands of children this is about the money that you're losing because of the vaping industry is cutting into traditional tobacco industry. [Note: I'm not actually waiting for a ban on Tobacco just being facetious. Prohibition does not work. Didn't work in the 1920s with alcohol, doesn't work now with the War on Drugs and it creates far more problems than it solves.]
