Twitter will remove inactive user accounts starting in December

Twitter says it will began the process of removing inactive accounts on Dec. 11th. Users who have not logged on to their accounts in more than 6 months are currently receiving emails to let them know about possible account removal. They have not specifically said how they will be memorizing accounts of deceased persons but have said a plan is in the works.

I don't care about twatter, but the idea of six months of inactivity before deleting this is bad specifically for military members, where if you get a deployment, you very well could go past that limit and lose out due to inactivity.
