67 people in 19 states contracted E. coli from romaine lettuce

The US CDC issued a food safety alert over romaine lettuce contaminated with E. coli. There are now at least 67 cases spread across 19 states with at least 39 people hospitalized. Six of those hospitalized have developed a type of kidney failure called hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). There are no deaths reported.

Again? Their was another E. Coli outbreak with Romaine lettuce here in the US not too long ago.

Well that's settled, no lettuce for at least a month. In fact maybe dial back all those green foods just in case.

how the do they spread diseases like that? 19 States 67 people have you seen that stuff come off the truck when it goes to a grocery store.
