Sen. Capito slams impeachment inquiry

During an interview Thursday, Sen. Shelly Moore Capito criticized her counterparts in the House of Representatives’ handling of the impeachment inquiry. ’When it comes into the public arena over the past several weeks, I think it has shown itself to again be a very divisive, a very partisan exercise’, Capito said.

That motherjones article is a fascinating study in wordcrafting a semi-coherent account of how the Dems are fighting the good fight to save the country from the evil Republicans. Just one problem: it is all a bunch of bullshit.

Is Mother Jones even watching the same circus that we are?

This "impeachment inquiry" has been exposed as a partisan fund raising scheme. It demonstrates how the media can be used to fabricate a story where nothing worth printing a story exists. Prior "impeachments" required a decent level of bipartisan agreement, so instead, they call it an "inquiry" which only requires a committee chair to initiate it. The damage to the process won't go unchecked. The next Democratic POTUS will find out when a single GOP committee chair is able to launch a similar "inquiry" based only on rumors, 2nd hand speculation and "bad feelings".

It's just more Orange Man Bad and the Republicans know it and the public knows it. Once it comes to the Senate it can finally be buried with disgrace like the ignomious partisan coupe it has always been.

I for one am happy for the impeachment inquiry. It shows how ridiculous and petty the Dems are. Nothing they have claimed against President Trump has been even remotely true.

The lady is just proving herself to be another of those pre-millennial politicians in serious need of being retired via popular vote.
