Zimbabwe facing ’man-made’ starvation, UN expert warns

A UN official has warned that Zimbabwe is on the brink of man-made starvation. As per reports, more than 60% of the country’s 14 million people are considered food-insecure. The causes for the same have been identified as hyperinflation, poverty, natural disasters and economic sanctions.
