Relic thought to be from Jesus’ manger arrives in Bethlehem

A fragment of wood believed to be from the manger where Jesus was laid after his birth arrived in Bethlehem as a gift from the Vatican on Saturday. The wood piece, just a few centimeters long, was once kept in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. The relic supposedly dates back more than 2,000 years and was sent to the Vatican in the 7th century.

Venerating a piece of wood.😂 I hope they display the ten commandments next to it.

I am not sure if it's from the real manger or not given the reputation such relics have but I still hope it is well taken care of.
