Man killed by own gun booby trap at Maine home

A man who rigged his home with booby traps has been killed after tripping one of his own devices in Maine. Ronald Cyr, 65, called 911 Thursday saying he had been shot in his home. Police and medics went to the scene and gave Cyr medical assistance but he succumbed to his injuries. Officers discovered a contraption on the front door designed to fire a handgun if anyone attempted to enter the home.
