Big tech CEO’s sign renewed commitment to Paris Agreement

Apple CEO Tim Cook, along with several other tech CEOs such as Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Tesla’s Elon Musk and Google’s Sundar Pichai, signed a statement Monday that says these companies will continue to support the 2015 Paris Agreement. Cook also noted that ’humanity has never faced a greater or more urgent threat than climate change’.

I think this is exactly how this should work. If companies are willing to adhere to such standards on their own then we don't need the government agreeing to it.
