Protesters surround shrine in Iraq, weeks of bloodshed and violence

Security officials in Iraq say ’anti-government’ protesters have surrounded a key shrine in the Najaf city of Iraq. Concerns of a violent outbreak are circulating after weeks of bloodshed and violence across the country. On Sunday, thirteen protesters were killed by Iraqi security forces in what is being called as the ’worst’ day of protests in Southern Iraq.
