Wisconsin officer shoots armed student who allegedly pointed gun in class

A Wisconsin High School student who allegedly pointed a gun at a school resource officer and refused to comply with orders to hand over the gun, was shot by the officer. A fellow student had reported to the police that the 17 year old male was carrying a handgun to the classroom. Officers had reported to the classroom and attempted to open a dialogue after which the situation escalated.
