She killed her kids then f***ed a dog? I'm not even Christian but we need Jesus.

Some people do, for sure. I'm more or less agnostic but I've noticed lately that many can't tell right from wrong without specific guidance. I would hate to be forced to identify as a Christian but we have some serious moral issues.

@Daniel I'm somewhat in the same boat. I grew up Muslim. I can't say for 100% sure God does or doesn't exist, but religion can teach good morals so I keep with some of the core beliefs. I've definetly met unhinged people that have straight up told me they'd do bad things if they didn't fear God.

Daniel, you can be an atheist in a truly functional "Judeo-Christian society" without an issue as long as you can agree with the fundamentals of the culture like its moral code. The culture opposes criminalization of much "sin", but does consider "social stigma" a valid tool for behavior that's condemned but not illegal. The problem today is the outright abandonment of any common social "sin" and "anything goes" if some culture, somewhere considers it OK. Hence, the "counter-culture" is empowered while those who prefer well established cultural traditions are called "phobic", "fascist" and are now stigmatized for seeking a return to the Western Judeo-Christian traditions that built this country.

Sadly the governor of PA currently has a "moratorium on the death penalty in the state. This means that for the time being, the act of a death sentence is prohibited."

If ever a woman was deserving of the death penalty surely this one qualifies...
