25 jail officers in Baltimore charged with using excessive force

More than two dozen Baltimore corrections officers were indicted Tuesday on at least 200 charges that they used excessive force on prisoners at state-operated jails in the city. The indicted officers are accused of assaulting and threatening detainees at correctional facilities, tampering with evidence and falsifying documents. The indictment includes alleged offenses against 25 prisoners.

To be fair, I wouldn't expect prison to be a nice place. I mean, I know you're not supposed to dehumanize criminals and they should be treated as people......But I find myself with more important things to care about than convicts getting beaten up in prison. Such as, what am I having for lunch today? I'm thinking fish.
