Barr says those who don’t show respect to cops may not get protection

William Barr said Tuesday that if communities don’t begin showing more respect to law enforcement, then they could potentially not be protected by police. While speaking during a Justice Department ceremony, Barr said, ’if communities don’t give that support and respect, they might find themselves without the police protection they need,’ without clarifying what ’communities’ he was referring to.

I respect police because they have a hard job, and most of them are good people in it for the right reasons. There are also a decent amount of corrupt law enforcement officers out there, and as a whole that community needs to actually try to purge those corrupt officers from their ranks. Until the blue wall (cops not ratting on cops) goes away, all cops. even the good ones, cannot be trusted. If you aren't willing to enforce laws on your own community, how can we honestly trust you will enforce them fairly in public. They can still be treated with respect though.

The head of the State Police has spoken for Big Brother. 1984 is the reality of US law enforcement. Have you sworn your loyalty oath that includes giving up your right to dissent?
