Head of Japanese aid agency and five others killed by gunmen in Afghanistan

Six people including the head of a Japanese aid agency have been killed by gunmen in Afghanistan. The killings occurred in an attack on their vehicle in Jalalabad in eastern Afghanistan. The attack has caused fears to heighten further for those doing humanitarian work in the region as a grenade attack took place a week ago on a United Nations vehicle in Kabul.
