Cyber criminal charged with stealing £76m, working for Russian intelligence

Maksim Yakubets, a Russian hacker, has been accused of cheating UK victims of millions of pounds. Yakubets was indicted by the US on Thursday for his part in developing the Dridex banking malware which allowed him to commit the massive cyber-crime. He is also accused of being the leader of the hacking group ’Evil Corp’ which poses a security threat to the UK.
