Virginia Governor suspends policy that led to strip search of 8 year old

Ralph Northam, the Governor of Virginia announced that he had suspended a policy that allowed prison officials to strip search a girl aged 8 years old, who had gone to visit her father. Mr. Northam said that he was ’deeply disturbed’ by the incident and had ordered an immediate review and investigation of procedures that led to the event.

Don't allow the child to physically be able to take anything to the prisoner. What ever happened to talking through glass windows?

This only raises concern if the search were done by someone other than a female. Otherwise business as usual.
